留声机Ⅲ 老鹰乐队和他们的歌

1971年琳达．朗丝黛筹备第三张专辑《Linda Ronstant》时向制作人John Boylan提出一个构想，她希望招集些顶尖的乐手成为超级伴奏团体，在录音室或巡回表演时都能够胜任。于是Boylan为她从Shiloh这个团体选出Don Henley、Richard Bowden、Mike Bowden三位团员加上Longbranch Pennywhistle二重唱里的Glenn Frey组成超级伴奏乐团，Bernie Leadon与Randy Meisner在稍后陆续加入。可是Henley跟Frey却想自己组一个乐团，于是等琳达的专辑完成后Henley和Frey便邀Leadon、Meisner组成合唱团。不过取什么团名呢？他们想到要能代表美国文化的，于是从原住民印第安人想到了此民族的守护使者－老鹰。1971年The Eagles（老鹰合唱团）在加州正式诞生。</P>
