这是一期纯歌特金属的音乐合辑。我非常注重曲目风格的定位，选取的都是一些经典专辑里的曲目，且都非常具有代表性。虽然是一期歌特金属的合辑，但大家听起来会感觉少了很多金属的味道。因为我在做这期合辑的时候尽量想把它做的很唯美，我觉得那样才更能表现出歌特金属幽暗神秘的美感。
从某种意义上来讲，是歌特金属真正引领我走进了金属音乐和阴暗音乐的世界。但那段听歌特金属的日子对我来说已经成为一段回忆了，因为很多歌特金属乐队已经开始变得面目全非。现在我已经很难再回头去听一些乐队的东西，但我还是要感谢这些伟大的乐队们，他们曾经带给我的那种震撼心灵的感觉还是异常深刻。
